What Makes Green Tea More Beneficial Than Black Tea?

The same tea plant produces both green tea and black tea. Even though the colors differ, they both originate from a plant called camellia sinensis. Teas are labeled as one of the most healthy drinks and both green and black teas are beneficial to health. Exactly how are they different and even more importantly which drink provides more health rewards compared to other tea?

Considering tea is a drink, we will evaluate the two drinks from a taste viewpoint. Which drink is tastier is an individual choice; nevertheless green tea possesses more of a bitter flavor compared to black tea. Black tea features a richer flavor than green tea. For this reason, a lot of new drinkers have a preference for black tea above green tea. Yet understanding that tea is a healthy beverage, flavor is simply not the top priority.

This proves the recovery ability of camellia sinensis. Regardless of what type of process it goes though, the tea leaves are helpful to human body. Yet it makes sense to consume the tea which contains more of the active ingredient. So why not begin adding green tea to your diet plan.
