Neogenis Labs's Nitric Oxide Products And Users Over The Age Of 40

By Lucy Cho

The need for Nitric Oxide (also called NO) supplements such as Neogenis Labs's Neo40 is not entirely clear for people over 40. Women and men over 40 are sent constant messages that they need many products to upkeep or improve their health, and the advertising behind Neogenis products is not too different. They claim that their Nitric Oxide booster could be an important way to improve health indicators. We will talk about the claims made by producers of products like NO supplements, and whether people over 40 really need help from such products to maintain health as they age.

There are various questions we can ask regarding these types of products. What can Neogenis and others' Nitric Oxide supplements be used for? What are the claims made regarding the potential benefits of such products? And what evidentiary proof is out there to show that Nitric Oxide supplements can do what various companies claim they can do?

Nitric Oxide products are used for the primary purpose of raising Nitric Oxide production in the human body. Nitric Oxide is not an ingredient, but is rather the final product desired from using these products. Increasing Nitric Oxide in the body could lead to various benefits for our health. Further, products like Nitric Oxide supplements are frequently sold to bodybuilders and athletes with the message that they will help them with working out. A Nitric Oxide booster could possibly be utilized to lessen the recovery time between two workouts and potentially increase the number of times specific muscle groups could be worked out within a healthy time period. Other users of NO supplements are told that there are various health benefits from their use.

So what are the claimed benefits? Neogenis Labs claims that use of their product, Neo40, could help lower blood pressure, inflammation, and decrease triglycerides. Further they claim it could help users get better sexual function and increased energy level. They also claim that their formula helps the body in naturally raising Nitric Oxide levels which would in turn improve circulation, help support the cardiovascular system, and would be specifically helpful for those over the age of 40.

The claims are many, but what about the evidence that they are true? Neogenis Labs does at least have some research to stand on that appears to offer evidence for at least a few of the things they claim their product can do. They say that an expert in Nitric Oxide uses from the University of Texas developed their product after seven years of research. They also conducted both pre-clinical and early clinical tests that showed a reduction in triglycerides (which includes the C-reactive protein levels already mentioned) and inflammation. Their claims about people over the age of 40 needing help with Nitric Oxide manufacture in the body relate to an American Heart Association study. The study suggested that Americans over 40 do not produce enough Nitric Oxide in their bodies. Otherwise this company sites various studies conducted over the years to back up its remaining claims.

Neogenis can support some of their claims regarding the health benefits of a Nitric Oxide booster like Neo40, but you should only use these products after consulting medical professionals.
